Olivier Martinez Opens Up About His 'Texas Rising' Character: 'He's Good, He's Bad, He's Everything'

Olivier Martinez keeps it cool and casual as he arrives at LAX Airport to catch a departing flight on Tuesday (April 21) in Los Angeles.

The week before, the 49-year-old French actor suited up to attend the 2015 MIPTV Opening Party with his Texas Rising co-stars Ray Liotta and Bill Paxton to promote the upcoming History channel miniseries.

“What is interesting about General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna is that he’s a true history character, which I didn’t know obviously because I’m not very familiar with the world of Texas,” Olivier recently expressed about his character. “But I discovered through history books that he was a very fascinating character. Larger than life, charismatic, brave, irrational. I love to play these parts, I love to play characters with a lot of contradictions. He’s good, he’s bad, he’s everything.”
