Demi Lovato Responds to Pink's VMAs Comments
Demi Lovato has taken to Twitter to defend herself against comments made by Pink that seemed to be directed at her VMAs performance.
In remarks that Pink allegedly wrote on her private Instagram account, she said she “felt sad because music is supposed to inspire. It saved my life. This trash won’t save any kids life.”
“Cool For The Summer may not “save kid’s lives” or “inspire” but I’d say Skyscraper & Warrior have done a pretty good job of helping people cope with mental illness. VMA’s are sexy and fun. There’s a time and place for everything,” Demi tweeted.
Demi also retweeted a bunch of her fans who said that her songs, including “Cool for the Summer” have inspired them for the better.

I'm learning so much every day by this new chapter in my life. I'm no longer the victim. I am the survivor.
