Adele Makes History & Sells 3.38 Million Copies of '25' in First Week

Adele has made history during the first week of sales of 25, selling 3.38 million copies.

This means that the 27-year-old superstar’s third studio album is the first to sell more than three million copies in a single week in Nielsen history!

It’s also only the second album to surpass two million sold in a single frame.

Earlier in the week, 25 beat N’Sync’s record from 2000 for single-week sales, with 2.42 million copies sold.
