Gunfire Erupts Near 'Shades of Blue' Set, Cast & Crew Safe
There were guns fired near the set of Jennifer Lopez‘s Shades of Blue on Wednesday evening (October 12) in the Bedford”Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, a source tells Just Jared.
The 47-year-old actress was not on the set at the time of the gunfire, but other cast and crew were present. Everyone is safe and security was on hand.
According to sources, men were brawling nearby the set location when suddenly six gunshots went off. The men ran and the police were unable to catch the suspects. Later on, two crew members were chased by an unidentified suspect in a situation that was potentially unrelated to the nearby gunfire. That suspect ended up banging on a cast member trailer, trying to get inside.
NYPD quickly stormed the scene after shots were fired in the street where filming was taking place. No additional security was brought in.
