Emily Blunt Tells 'Kimmel' Recording New 'Marry Poppins' Songs Was 'Most Moving' Experience - Watch Here!

Emily Blunt stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday (November 14) and talked all about playing the iconic title role in Mary Poppins Returns!

“On my days off I’d go and meet the songwriters and they’d be crafting these incredible songs,” the 35-year-old actress told Jimmy. “I felt very comfortable with them by the time we did the pre-record. We pre-recorded these songs with 100-piece orchestra, it truly was one of the most moving experiences. It was wild. You sing it with them so they can hear your tempo, it was wild.”

Emily also talked about filming with kids on set, getting approval from Julie Andrews, shooting the animated sequences, and Jimmy reveals a very funny and embarrassing story about dinner with Emily‘s mother.
