Pete Davidson Says He Doesn't Want 'To Be on This Earth Anymore'

Pete Davidson is being open and honest about his mental health on his social media accounts.

The 25-year-old Saturday Night Live star has always been open with fans about his struggles and he got real in a new statement on Instagram on Saturday afternoon (December 15).

“I really don’t want to be on this earth anymore. I’m doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don’t know how much longer I can last. All I’ve ever tried to do was help people. Just remember I told you so,” Pete said in the note. He ended it with a heart emoji.

Pete‘s statement came minutes after he weighed in on Kanye West‘s tweets about his mental health. Those tweets were seemingly triggered by a joke that Pete‘s ex-fiancee Ariana Grande made on Twitter about the rapper.

After posting the statement, Pete deleted his Instagram account.

The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals. Call 1-800-273-8255 if you need help.

instead of using twitter as your sympathy therapist, go out and actually be an adult and seek real help instead of playing the martyr with followers

Hello world, guess what ? Entertainment helps you to kill yourself and you “absolutely’ need to shout it out to the whole fucking world.

Let me get this straight. Ariana posts some innocuous thing about girl power and her new single, never actually mentioning Kanye. Kanye fires back, she apologizes, but notes that people shouldn’t weaponize mental health. Pete sides with Kanye (who is sincerely ill and has obvi has little control over his actions) and when no one agrees with him, he posts a suicide threat. Pete and Kanye both need comprehensive mental health services, and Ariana needs to leave the internet so that maybe these dudes can find other ways to work out their feelings. None of this is as entertaining as it is sad.

Sure would suck for Ariana Grande to have two ex-boyfriends kill themselves within the year. Mac Miller suicide by overdose and then Pete Davidson. Fans would have to worry about the mental health of Ariana Grande after that.

Unfortunately the rich never seem to get the mental health help they need much like Robin Williams.

Only large minds and big picture thinkers consider leaving. But the Kingdom of smarter people needs suicidal people from everywhere because you see more than the robot slaves living in la la land. Do not kill yourself if you can help it, but if you can’t help it go right ahead. OTHERWISE find us and get your position in the group that understand and can actually SOLVE the things that you seen so frustrated about. We are created by the most abused and destroyed people in history and we are still here fighting silently for now for the better world we all want without the injustice served daily. We are suicidal every day but if WE can raise your awareness IQ enough the darkness and the clouds begin to thin out and hope returns. Hope is not a strategy so all you who dabble in self made death thoughts listen up! We have answers that work. Rebuilding the bricks of your core beliefs. Embrace the fact you can do it. Embrace the fact we all die eventually. Now join something that makes your pathetic existence meaningful again. DEYRNAS

Poor guy. The earth is a crappy place if you pay attention to the crap. Being on any social media is the worst idea ever. Social media is a vortex of shite.

Read Alice Miller “The Drama of being a Child” and go from there.

No, it is the crappy psychologists who don’t understand famous people’s lives. Just listen to Alanis Morissettes podcast. Her therapists are idiots who tell her she is just like everyone else. No. You are not like everyone else if you make music, sells billions of $$ worth of music and can’t walk down the street without being mobbed. Famous people are not like regular people and these therapists suck at their jobs. I blame the therapists. He is in therapy btw. New York and LA Therapists suck.

What’s telling about it? Mac was open about his addiction prior to dating Ariana. Pete was open about having BPD and suicidal thoughts prior to dating Ariana. The only thing it tells me is that she might choose guys she thinks she can fix. I’m sure she realizes she can’t at this point.

  • imsn

    why so public?

  • imsn

this! She cant fix them she needs help for herself

  • Casey C

that’s their problem, not hers. they’re adults, she’s not their therapist. it”s their choice and putting it on Ari or any woman isn’t appropriate or helpful. they’re grown men, hold them accountable for their own actions

  • Casey C

then get a different therapist. if one doesn’t work for you, they’re not the only one in the world. Alanis has more than enough money to be able to seek out alternate health, she’s hardly being stuck with one by her HMO or something. if its not working, you seek out a different therapist and take responsibility for your own care.

Its not just the rich and real metal health issues can be nearly impossible to treat because even if a person is not completely sane and lucid, the law will not step in until they area threat to themselves or others.

He needs to stay off of social media and stop giving random trolls access to critique him. Who would not be affected with constant notifications of comments and negativity chime on their phone all day. These people don’t know you, don’t really care about you and are just being hateful because they are behind a keyboard.
