Meryl Streep Debuts First 'The Laundromat' Trailer - Watch Now!

Meryl Streep is starring in the first trailer for The Laundromat!

The upcoming dark comedy is an adaptation of Jake Bernstein’s non-fiction book Secrecy World.

The film follows a widow who investigates an insurance fraud. When she begins asking questions, she finds that the problem is much bigger than she’d anticipated and is led to Panama City law partners who are exploiting the world’s financial system.

The film also stars Gary Oldman and Antonio Banderas.

The Laundromat is set to premiere at the 2019 Venice Film Festival before heading to theaters and Netflix.
