'Tarzan' Actor Ron Ely's Son Cameron Murders His Mother Valerie Before Being Killed by Police

Ron Ely‘s son, Cameron, fatally stabbed his mother Valerie Ely before being killed by police officers.

The 81-year-old Tarzan actor’s son reportedly blamed the murder on his father in a 911 call, according to newly released audio footage.

A spokesperson for the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that officers responded to the 911 call placed at Ron‘s home on Tuesday (October 15), where they found Valerie dead with “multiple stab wounds,” and identified the suspect to be their 30-year-old son Cameron.

Deputies reportedly found Cameron outside the home and said “he posed a threat,” which led to officers firing “their service weapons at the suspect, fatally wounding him.”

The office is currently conducting criminal, coroner’s, and administrative investigations. Ron did not suffer injuries. Autopsies are still pending.
