A source is speaking out about why Jessie J and Channing Tatum may have broken up.

“He is super busy with his career, as a dad and will be traveling a lot in the coming months,” a source told People. “He has a world awaiting him and is trying to manage how busy he is which isn’t easy.”

“He has a lot on his plate right now and wants to be the best dad possible which means he needs to be around when he isn’t traveling for his own work,” the source added.

The source continued that the “timing was off” and their split “came at a good time.”

News broke last week that Channing Tatum and Jessie J had broken up after just over a year of dating. The last time they were seen together was at this event back in September.
