Kobe Bryant's Final Interview Was Published Just 3 Days Ago

Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna died in a helicopter accident on Sunday (January 26), and now, an interview he gave that was published just three days ago is being shared by fans.

In the interview, the 41-year-old NBA legend spoke about his busy post-basketball work schedule. He had so many projects he worked on including his children’s book series, The Wizenard Series: Season One, working with his production company Granity Studios, and more.

“You got to do what you love to do. I love telling stories,” Kobe told USA Today. “I love inspiring kids or providing them with tools that are going to help them.”

He continued, “I have an idea for an entire universe that centers around sports, fantasy and magic. It’s as if the Olympics and Harry Potter had a baby.”

He also loved coaching youth sports.

“Coaching youth sports is so important to take very seriously because you’re helping the emotional (development) of young kids,” he added. “So it’s understanding not to be overcritical and understanding that (there) are going to be mistakes.”

Kobe‘s daughter Gianna, who died in the crash, wanted to play in the NBA and he helped her with her craft on the court.
