CBS 'Silence of the Lambs' Sequel Series Finds Its Clarice!

The highly anticipated Silence of the Lambs sequel series coming to CBS has found the actress to fill the role of FBI agent Clarice Starling, originally played by Jodie Foster in the 1991 film: Rebecca Breeds.

The project is set a year of the events in the 1991 film to tell “the untold personal story of Clarice Starling as she returns to the field to pursue serial murderers and sexual predators while navigating the high-stakes political world of Washington, D.C.”
Clarice is described as “brilliant and vulnerable, a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Virginia. Her bravery gives her an inner light that draws monsters and madmen to her. Her complex psychological makeup comes from a challenging childhood, and her drive comes from her need to escape the burden of family secrets that have haunted her throughout her life.”
