Kate Middleton & Prince William Meet the People Working on Frontlines of Virus Outbreak
Kate Middleton and Prince William have met with some of the people who are working on the frontlines to help the citizens of London throughout this trying time.
The royal couple visited the London Ambulance Service 111 control room to meet with staff who have been taking NHS calls from the public on Thursday (March 19) in Croydon, England.
The NHS is receiving five times the usual rate of calls and Will and Kate wanted to thank the workers for their service.
“All of us have a part to play if we’re going to protect the most vulnerable,” William said in a new statement. “That means acting on the latest expert advice, staying home if we or those we live with have symptoms, and avoiding non-essential contact to help reduce the spread of the virus.”
