Cardi B Calls Out the Government for Not Paying for Coronavirus Costs: 'This S--t Could Have Been Prevented' - Watch! (Video)

Cardi B is putting the government on blast for not putting up the money for coronavirus testing and treatment.

The 27-year-old “Bodak Yellow” rapper took to Instagram on Tuesday (March 24) to discuss her latest opinions regarding the global health crisis.

“People might take what I say and run with it. I wanna let these celebrities know, the confusion that the general public has…if a celebrity is saying I don’t have no symptoms…but I went and got tested and I got positive, that causes confusion. That makes people be like ‘wait a minute, I went out…I might just have it. I’m scared!” she said of her thoughts about celebrities getting preferential treatment for testing, amid rampant rumors online that some celebrities are being paid to say they’re positive.

“The coronavirus is very much real. First things first,” she clarified.

“A lot of celebrities, you have the luxury to pay $34,000, or whatever the f–k it costs to get tested and treated. A lot of these people don’t f–king have that money. Some people don’t even have enough to f–king afford healthcare. And I feel like all this s–t, for coronavirus treatments, for testing, I feel like the government should take that s–t, charge that s–t to the game, and not charge people for it.”

“At the end of the day, this shit could have been prevented when they found out about this s–t a couple of months ago with the s–t they was doing in China. The f–k? They shouldn’t be charging no motherf–king Medicaid, health insurance…this is y’all fault!” she demanded.

“A month ago everybody was saying it’s fine, it’s not that serious, now look…and that’s my point.”

Her recent rant also resulted in an accidental hit song.
