Justin Trudeau's Wife Sophie Recovers From Coronavirus Diagnosis

Sophie Gregoire-Trudeau has recovered from her coronavirus diagnosis!

The wife of Canadian Prime Minster Justin Trudeau shared a statement on social media on Saturday (March 28) that she is feeling “much better” after testing positive for the virus back on March 12.

“I am feeling so much better and have received the all clear from my physician and Ottawa Public Health,” Sophie wrote in a statement on Facebook. “From the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you to everyone who reached out to me with their well wishes. And to everyone who is suffering right now, I send you all my love.”

Sophie and Justin have been self-isolating at their home in Canada after she first developed flu-like symptoms after returning from a trip to the U.K.

Justin and their three kids have not shown any symptoms and did not get tested.

Canada has more than 5,616 confirmed coronavirus cases, including 61 deaths. About 445 people have recovered.
