Prince Harry Opened Up About Seeing The 'Best in Human Spirit' Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

Prince Harry is giving credit to British citizens across the United Kingdom, as they banded together to take care of each other amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The 35-year-old Duke of Sussex was guest on the military podcast, Declassified, where he opened up about his time in the armed forces and pride of being a veteran, and at the same time, spoke about the incredible human spirit that have come together in support.

“I’m just so incredibly proud to see what these individuals up and down the country and across the world are doing on a day-to-day basis. What has happened, especially in the U.K., is the very best of human spirit,” Harry shared.

He added that “it’s also proving that I think things are better than we’re led to believe through certain corners of the media. It can be very worrying when you’re sitting there and the only sort of information you are getting is from certain news channels, but then if you are out and about, or you’re on the right platforms, you can really sense this human spirit coming to the forefront.”

Harry added that helping out others is a thing that will help you through the quarantine.

“We’re now questioned to help others, to give back and to play a part in society, in your community and to be a good neighbor… makes you a better person, makes you feel better, it’s good for your well being, it’s good for your mental fitness—that’s just fact.”
