Halsey Tends to Injured Protester at Downtown L.A. Protest

Halsey gets supplies out of her backpack to help tend to an injured protester on Wednesday afternoon (June 3) in Los Angeles.

The 25-year-old singer has been one of the most active stars on the frontlines of protests in Los Angeles and she’s making sure that her fellow protesters are being cared for.

“Mad love to everyone who’s been out on the ground everyday these past few days. Eat, drink water, and get sleep. And mad love to everyone who has done their best to show up or contribute from home with conflicting obligations, responsibilites or health issues,” Halsey tweeted on Wednesday night after a day of protesting.

Halsey, who is biracial, took to Twitter earlier in the week to share an important message about why she doesn’t say “we” while discussing injustice about the Black community.
