Are Tobey Maguire & Andrew Garfield Returning for 'Spider-Man 3'? Studio Issues Statement

There’s a big rumor floating around the Internet that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will be putting their Spidey suits back on for the third Marvel Spider-Man movie!

Well, Sony Studios – who owns the rights to Spider-Man – was asked about this rumor.

They told ET Canada, “Those rumoured castings are not confirmed.” We’ll have to wait and see!

Fans have been wondering if more past Spider-Man cast members would be joining the movie after Jamie Foxx was confirmed to return as villain Electro.
