Jeremy Allen White Books His First New Role After 'Shameless' Ended

Jeremy Allen White has a brand new job!

The 30-year-old actor, who starred on Shameless as fan-fave Lip Gallagher, has just joined a brand new FX series called The Bear.

According to Deadline, The Bear will focus on a young chef who returns to Chicago to run the family restaurant.

Jeremy is set for the lead role in the half-hour comedy project, which comes from Ramy executive producer/director Christopher Storer, Hiro Murai’s Super Frog, Joanna Calo and FX Productions.

Christopher will also write, direct, and exec produce with Hiro, Nate Matteson and Joanna Calo.

The Bear will also star Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Abby Elliott and Matty Matheson, who is also serve as a consulting producer.
