The 56-year-old actor will be a presenter during tonight’s ceremony.

Kelsey was nominated for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical last year for his work in La Cages Aux Folles, but lost to his co-star Douglas Hodge.

Kelsey and Kayte were married earlier this year in a ceremony held at the Longacre Theatre, where Kelsey performed in La Cage!

The Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark co-stars will be performing during the show tonight even though their musical will not be eligible for awards until next year.

Spider-Man pushed back its opening night to June 15 in order to make changes to the production and missed the eligibility cut-off date for this year’s awards.

Jennifer is no stranger to the Tony Awards as she was nominated for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical for Next to Normal in 2009!

Neil Patrick Harris and his longtime partner David Burtka hit the red carpet at the 2011 Tony Awards held at the Beacon Theatre on Sunday (June 12) in New York City.

The 37-year-old How I Met Your Mother actor is serving as the host during tonight’s ceremony, which he has hosted before in the past!

This year’s show marks the first time in many years that it won’t be hosted at Radio City Music Hall.

“We have to play to the size constraints. They had to build a tent behind the theater, to house whole casts waiting to go on. That will be exciting, they’ll all be stuffed in a tent together,” Neil told THR about using the Beacon Theatre, a considerably smaller venue.

The 37-year-old How I Met Your Mother actor will be hosting the 2011 Tony Awards for the second time TONIGHT!

Neil recently spoke to THR about how the season’s most nominated musical, The Book of Mormon, had a hard time picking a number to perform.

“If it doesn’t get by the censors in the end, I can see myself announcing, ‘Please stand by for two minutes while we black out.’ It should be the edgiest Tonys for a while. And that’s a good thing. Let’s shake it up!” Neil said.

Neil Patrick Harris will host the 65th Tony Awards telecast from New York City’s Beacon Theatre on Sunday, June 12 on CBS.

“I’m hosting this year’s Tony Awards. (crouch, snap! – step, snap! – step, snap! – jazz hands!)” the The 37-year-old How I Met Your Mother actor tweeted.

“I’m honored and stoked to have been asked to host the 2011 Tony Awards,” NPH added in a statement. “It should be a great show – we’ve got a fantastic mix of live performances, a few secret surprises and since they’re closed for retooling, we’re using all the rigging equipment from Spider-Man. What could possibly go wrong?”

NPH hosted the 2009 Tony Awards., the same year he hosted the Emmy Awards.

The hit Broadway musical Book of Mormon should sweet the Tonys this year – they received a whopping 14 nominations this year!

Nominations for the 2011 Tony Awards have been announced!

Topping the list with 14 nominations was The Book of Mormon, followed by The Scottsboro Boys with 12. Anything Goes and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying earned 8 and 7 nominations, respectively.

The 2011 Tony Awards will take place at the Beacon Theatre in NYC and will air on CBS on Sunday, June 12 at 8/7c.
