Matt Bomer hits the purple carpet at the 2012 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday (February 25) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 34-year-old White Collar actor was joined at the ceremony by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who hit the stage during the show with Elizabeth Banks to present the award for Best Screenplay to The Descendants.

Joseph wore an Asos slim fit tweed suit and Tods Derby lace-up shoes in brown leather.

Shailene Woodley proudly shows off her award in the press room at the 2012 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday (February 25) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The big winner of the afternoon was The Artist, which picked up four awards, including Best Feature, Best Director for Michel Hazanavicius, Best Male Lead for Jean Dujardin, and Best Cinematography.

Michelle Williams won Best Female Lead for My Week With Marilyn, Shailene Woodley won Best Supporting Female for The Descendants, and Christopher Plummer won Best Supporting Male for Beginners.

Olivia Wilde and Rosario Dawson glam it up backstage at the 2012 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday (February 25) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The ladies also met up backstage with Anthony Mackie, who hit the stage with Rosario to present Best First Feature to Zachary Quinto‘s film Margin Call.

Olivia, who wore a dress and shoes by Gucci, Ippolita bangles, and an Irene Neuwirth ring, hit the stage with Willem Defoe to present the award for Best Female Lead to My Week With Marilyn‘s Michelle Williams.

The 43-year-old Southland actress wore a Roberto Cavalli dress, Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, a Roger Vivier bag, and Piaget jewelry.

Lucy, who presented the Best Supporting Female award to The Descendants‘ Shailene Woodley, made her way into the official backstage gifting lounge with her manager. She picked up a free year membership to Crunch gym, AMC Theatres movie passes, and New Balance sneakers!

“I just finished the show [Southland], so I’m in the process of moving my stuff back to NY,” Lucy told JustJared.com exclusively. “I just love the city, there’s just so much culture and not everyone’s in the [entertainment] industry.”

Ian Somerhalder and Zachary Quinto walk the purple carpet at the 2012 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday (February 25) in Santa Monica, Calif.

Zach is nominated for the Best First Feature award for his work as a producer on the film Margin Call. He and his team are nominated against Another Earth, In the Family, Martha Marcy May Marlene, and Natural Selection.

Margin Call‘s screenwriter J.C. Chandor is also nominated for Best First Screenplay!

Rashida, 36, wore an Oscar de la Renta ocean cotton silk degrade leaf print dress from the designer’s Pre-Fall 2012 collection, Bow Chic shoes, and Kimberly McDonald jewelry.

Elizabeth, 38, wore Timo Weiland, carried a Kzeniya clutch and wore Kimberly McDonald earrings.
