Rashida Jones is the latest celebrity to slam the Cannes Film Festival for their rule that women must wear high-heeled shoes.

“It’s part of a larger problem, which is heels are the worst. They make your legs look better, whatever, but mainly it’s men designing them and setting these rules. … If they make a rule where that I have to wear heels on the carpet, then I’m making a rule that I’m just going to wear flats any time I’m asked to wear heels,” the 39-year-old actress said on Tuesday evening (May 26) during the Nightly Show on Comedy Central.

“I think it’s a snobbery thing. I think it’s like ‘this is the way we do things here,’ you know, and it’s sexist,” Rashida added.

Rashida went on the show to promote Hot Girls Wanted, a documentary she produced that sheds light on Florida’s amateur porn industry through the experiences of five young women in the business. The doc hits Netflix on Friday!

During the festival, Sienna took the time to chat about her feminist views.

“I’m actually increasingly aware of the lack of equality in our industry and all over the world in every industry and almost every walk of life, but I do feel like the last year has been very important for women,” Sienna shared to The Cut.

She added, “The conversation is happening on a much larger scale and on a world stage, and I feel like it’s time to make a stand in terms of equal pay and all of that. And whether it’s the #HeForShe campaign or, in America, potentially a female president, things are moving the right way!”

Charli XCX lights up the stage during her performance on Le Grand Journal during the 2015 Cannes Film Festival on Friday night (May 22) in Cannes, France.

The 22-year-old “Boom Clap” singer is on the June/July cover of Teen Vogue with Paper Towns actor Nat Wolff.

“It used to stress me out when I was younger, because I would take everything really, really personally. But, to be honest, I don’t read it too much anymore. No, it doesn’t really bother me,” Charli shared about if she reads stuff about herself on the internet.

She added, “My assistant sends me screen grabs of, like, really funny Daily Mail clips when they write about me, and there’s always hideous and hilarious comments.”

Charli also opened up about the most bizarre thing she’s seen in Asia: “I went to a cat café, and that was really bizarre. It was about 50 cats in a room, and old Japanese ladies playing with them for hours. I feel like the cats just wanted to be left alone.”
