Taron was up for Best Actor at the show tonight for his role as Elton John in Rocketman. Joaquin Phoenix took home the prize.

The full list of winners for the 2020 BAFTAs was just revealed!

1917 was the big winner of the night, taking home the award for Best Film and six other awards, including Best Director for Sam Mendes.

The same four actors who won at the Golden Globes, the SAG Awards, and the Critics’ Choice Awards all won here, basically cementing their Oscar glory next weekend.

Joker was the most nominated movie of the year with 11 nominations and it took home a few awards, including Best Actor for Joaquin Phoenix.

Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith are a picture perfect couple while walking the red carpet at the 2020 EE British Academy Film Awards on Sunday (February 2) at Royal Albert Hall in London, England.

Jodie, who is pregnant with the couple’s first child, decided to live-tweet the entire event and said that Josh was censoring her tweets!

“my man is looking over my shoulder at my live tweets and making me edit out ALL the tea
😒 #BAFTAs,” she wrote.

The couple ended up leaving the event before the end so that Jodie could get something to eat!

Charlize Theron adds a gorgeous pop of color to the red carpet while arriving for the 2020 EE British Academy Film Awards on Sunday (February 2) at Royal Albert Hall in London, England.

The 44-year-old actress was nominated for Best Actress for her portrayal of Megyn Kelly in Bombshell at the ceremony tonight.

The award was won by Renee Zellweger for Judy.

Just recently, Charlize opened up about playing Megyn on the big screen and was surprised to find out she did have things in common with the journalist.

The 45-year-old actor is nominated for Best Actor for his work in Joker and he got support from his longtime partner Rooney Mara!

Renee Zellweger and Jessie Buckley hit the red carpet at the 2020 EE British Academy Film Awards on Sunday (February 2) at Royal Albert Hall in London, England.

Renee is up for Best Actress for her work in Judy and Jessie actually played a supporting role in that film!

Jessie is also nominated for Best Actress for her work in the indie film Wild Rose.

The 29-year-old actress is nominated for two awards in the Best Supporting Actress category – one for her work in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and another for her work in Bombshell.

The award ended up going to Marriage Story‘s Laura Dern.

It’s rare for an actor to be nominated twice in one year, but it’s even more rare for them to be nominated twice in the same category!
