A new snippet from Anna Duggar‘s interview from the three-part TLC special, Jill & Jessa: Counting On has been released, where she can be seen talking about her husband Josh‘s cheating scandal.

“I was just like, ‘I’m gonna wake up and this is going to be okay,’” Anna said, in the clip that previewed on GMA on Wednesday (December 9). “‘And this really. This can’t be true.’”

“It wasn’t right for him to let us speak our words without having the full knowledge of what he was hiding,” Jill said in the clip with regards to her defending Josh after he molested several girls when he was a teenager. At the time when Jill defended her big brother, it was not yet known that he had been part of Ashley Madison, the adultery website.

Anna Duggar is opening up about the scandal involving her husband Josh Duggar for the very first time.

In a preview for the upcoming Jill and Jessa: Counting On three-part special, Anna, 27, is seen saying that “it was heartbreaking to hear what had happened.”

In case you don’t remember, Josh admitted that he has been unfaithful to his wife and he entered a faith-based rehab center in August. Just recently, he was sued by an adult film actress who claims he assaulted her.

“I cried a lot of tears,” Jill, 24, adds. “My first thoughts were for Anna.”

“Someone who you love, how could this happen?” Jessa, 23, says.

The sisters tease some of the “exciting milestones” that are happening in their lives these days though, including the birth of Jessa‘s baby Spurgeon.

Jill Duggar opened up about her family’s troubled times in a new blog post on Monday (August 31).

“Hey everyone! August has been a busy month for us,” the 24-year-old reality star wrote on her blog. “And as so many of you know, it has ended on a sad note for my extended family. Please do pray for our family. We are so thankful for God’s grace during difficult days.”

“Thank y’all for continuing to pray for us! We will keep the updates coming and will try to do so with more frequency so keep checking our website for more! We are so grateful for your partnership and friendship as we work to bring many to Christ in Central America!,” Jill concluded her post from Central America, where she and her husband Derick (pictured to the left) are currently on an extended trip.

Jill‘s older brother Josh has been in the news lately after admitting to cheating on his wife Anna and entering a treatment center.

Anna Duggar‘s brother Daniel Keller is speaking out about Josh Duggar‘s cheating scandal and making his thoughts known about the whole situation.

In response to Josh‘s younger sister Jessa‘s Facebook post preaching forgiveness, Daniel wrote, “You have to confess and forsake your sin to have mercy. Not sin confess and repeat.”

After being called out for his comments, Daniel continued, “Think for a min about the victims. Tell me how you would feel if someone cheated on your sister and brought so much disgrace to you and ur family. Confessing and getting caught are two different things. You want to know what happens when you cover ur sin maybe you should go read ur bible instead of beating people over the head with it.”

Adding that he’s been “sick to his stomach,” Daniel continued in a long Facebook thread, “I have told her [Anna] I would pay for her to move out here w me and pay for her kidz. I don’t think josh will see that this is a big deal and be truly broken till that happens. I told her I would go get her and her children stay w me. She said she’s staying where she’s at. But I won’t stop trying to get that pig out of our family.”

“My parents are preaching stay w him,” Daniel added. “They’re more interested in how their daughter getting a divorce will make them look than they are in trying to truly get Josh some help and getting Anna and the kids out of there till he has gotten that help.”

Anna reportedly has no plans to divorce Josh, despite admitting that he joined Ashley Madison and has a pornography addiction. Josh and Anna have four children together, Mackynzie, 5, Michael, 4, Marcus, 2, and 1-month-old Meredith Grace.

19 Kids & Counting‘s Josh Duggar just released a statement openly admitting he has been cheating on his wife Anna after reports spread that he had accounts on the adultery site Ashley Madison.

“I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife,” the 27-year-old began.

“I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him,” Josh continued.

Josh has been in the spotlight for months now after his recent molestation scandal came to light and caused the cancellation of the family’s TLC show.
