Bill Cosby's Daughter Ensa Dead at 44

Bill Cosby‘s daughter Ensa has passed away at the age of 44.

Ensa passed on Friday (February 23) in Massachusetts, but her cause of death has not been made public at this time. TMZ reports that she did have significant medical problems in the past and she may have been in line to get a kidney transplant.

Ensa was a supporter of her dad through his legal issues and the multiple allegations of sexual misconduct against him.

“My father has been publicly lynched in the media and my family, my young daughter, my young niece and nephew have had to stand helplessly by and watch the double standard or pretending to protect the rights of some but ignoring the rights of others,” Ensa previously said. “I strongly believe my father is innocent of the crimes alleged against him and I believe that racism has played a big role in all aspects of this scandal.”

Bill Cosby's Wife Camille Releases Statement Thanking Jury

Bill Cosby‘s wife Camille has released a statement after her husband’s sexual assault case ended in a mistrial.

Camille, who has been married to Bill since 1964, slammed the district attorney and thanked the jury members who “tenaciously fought to review the evidence.”

“How do I describe the District Attorney? Heinously and exploitively ambitious. How do I describe the judge? Overtly and arrogantly collaborating with the District Attorney. How do I describe the counsels for the accusers? Totally unethical. How do I describe many, but not all, general media? Blatantly vicious entities that continually disseminated intentional omissions of truths for the primary purpose of greedily selling sensationalism at the expense of a human life,” Camille wrote in her written statement.

“Historically, people have challenged injustices. I am grateful to any of the jurors who tenaciously fought to review the evidence; which is the rightful way to make a sound decision….ultimately, that is a manifestation of justice, based on facts, not lies. As a very special friend once stated, ‘truth can be subdued, but not destroyed,’” she continued.

“Moreover, I express humongous gratitude to counselors Brian McMonagle and Angela Agrusa for their hard work. Mr. McMonagle for his passionate and powerful articulations of truths; Ms. Agrusa for her thorough research to bolster Counsel McMonagle; to Mr. Andrew Wyatt for his unequivocal skills in public relations; to our team, who worked diligently and intelligently; to our staffs for their continuous commitment to our family and me….and to our children, grandchildren, and other family who loves us…and to our dear friends and supporters, who never gave up on us, despite it all,” she concluded.

Lena Dunham Speaks Out on Bill Cosby Trial Decision

Lena Dunham is speaking out to send love to sexual assault victims around the world after Bill Cosby‘s sexual assault case ended in a mistrial.

The former comedian will not face any jail time, though he still has another assault case coming up and he can still face civil lawsuits.

Bill Cosby‘s trial is about much more than Bill Cosby. When women see justice served, their own fear & trauma are eased. When they don’t…” Lena tweeted.

“Survivors of sexual assault have to watch every day as the legal system calls them liars and denies their truth. It is an unimaginable grind,” she added. “My heart is with every survivor reliving the erasure of their own experience today. I see you. I love you. ps It’s okay to check out of the news and honor yourself today. Do whatever you need to feel whole.”

Bill Cosby's Rape Case Ends in Mistrial After Jury Deadlocks

Bill Cosby‘s sexual assault trial has ended in a mistrial after the jury deadlocked and was not able to come to a decision.

The 79-year-old former comedian, who has been accused of sexual assault by dozens of women, was on trial for the alleged drugging and molestation of a woman named Andrea Constand, who was the manager of Temple University’s women’s basketball team at the time.

Cosby was on the board of trustees of the university and he struck up a friendship with Constand, who went to his home to talk about her career. She says he gave her three blue pills to help her relax and that she became woozy. Eventually she woke up to find him groping and molesting her while he pleasured himself. Cosby‘s legal team painted Constand as someone who could not be believed.

The jury deliberated for 52 hours, which is longer than the actual trial lasted. After pressure from the judge to reach a decision, the jury deadlocked and the judge granted a mistrial.

“After 52 hours of deliberation–probably one of the most courageous acts I’ve ever seen–I’m compelled to grant a mistrial,” judge Steven O’Neill said.

Bill Cosby Sexual Assault Case Jury Is Deadlocked

The jury in the Bill Cosby case where he’s on trial over allegations that he sexually assaulted a former Temple University employee at his home in 2004 is deadlocked.

“I am required to read you an instruction. The jury foreman has informed me that you are deadlocked,” Judge Steven O’Neill told the jury (via CNN). “If you are still deadlocked you should report that to me. If you’ve reached a unanimous decision on some of the charges, please report that back to me.”

The jury went to deliberations this past Monday. If you don’t know, a deadlocked jury is one that cannot reach a unanimous decision or a supermajority in a court case.

The former comedian has been accused of sexual assault by over 40 women over the years.
