Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are joined by some of their kids while attending a memorial for the late Breonna Taylor on Friday afternoon (June 5) in downtown Los Angeles.

The longtime friends brought their kids to pay their respects on what would have been Breonna‘s 27th birthday. She was killed on March 13 when police entered her apartment unannounced and shot her eight times.

The officers were at the wrong address and looking for a suspect who had already been taken into custody. None of them have been fired or charged for Breonna‘s murder.

Before she was killed, Breonna was an award-winning EMT who had been working on the frontlines of COVID-19 and she had plans to become a nurse.

Ben, Matt, and the kids were clearly moved by Breonna‘s story and made sure to pay their respects in person. They all carried bouquets of flowers to place at the memorial.

Doja Cat has donated $100,000 to the fund set up to honor Breonna Taylor in celebration of what would have been her 27th birthday.

The 24-year-old musician shared the donation with her fans, and urged them to donate as well.

“I am donating $100,000 to Justice For Breonna Taylor Fund #BIRTHDAYFORBREONNA and I am inviting you all to honor and celebrate her with me by donating whatever you can and signing her petition – the link is in my bio,” Doja wrote on Instagram, with receipts from her two $50,000 donations.

She added, “I’m urging all my friends, family, fans, and colleagues to please donate whatever you can to her cause and to ALL the foundations that are helping us bring justice and demand change!”

“We are all in this together and together is the ONLY way to demand change for a better world.”

Celebrities and others have been sharing birthday messages for Breonna, and bringing attention to her senseless murder that happened back in March.

Today (June 5) would have been Breonna Taylor‘s 27th birthday and celebrities are wishing her a happy birthday on social media, while also demanding justice for her.

Breonna was shot to death in her own home when police officers broke into her apartment in an attempted drug bust, though they were at the wrong address and the suspect had already been taken into custody. She was an EMT who had been working on the frontlines of the COVID-19 virus before she was shot eight times by cops.

The officers who were involved in Breonna‘s murder are still free and everyone is seeking justice for her right now.
