Bristol Palin arrives at the dance rehearsal studio on Wednesday (October 27) in Hollywood.

This week, the 20-year-old DWTS contestant scored 23 points out of a possible 30 with partner Mark Ballas, which is their highest of the season.

Judge Carrie Ann Inaba said her performance dancing the tango to Orianthi‘s “According to You” was “ridiculously amazing,” while judge Bruno Tonioli dubbed it as her “best performance” yet in the competition. But it was Brandy who earned the night’s highest score with 26.

Bristol Palin takes off after a Dancing With The Stars practice on Wednesday (October 20) in Hollywood.

The 20-year-old DWTS contestant confused her mom, Sarah Palin, when she told her she was safe from elimination this week. She texted her mom, “Safe!!!!,” while her mom texted back “Safe? From what? Where are you?,” Bristol told Access Hollywood.

“It doesn’t come on [in Alaska] for a few more hours,” Bristol explained. “I was like, ‘I’m safe on the show.’ She was like, ‘Yay!’ Like all excited.”

Bristol Palin celebrates her 20th birthday at The Mint Bar on Monday (October 18) in Los Angeles.

The 20-year-old DWTS contestant and her partner Mark Ballas wore monkey suits to start their jive to the theme song from 1960s show, The Monkees. They received a score of 6 from each judge.

Dancing with the Stars judges gave Brandy and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy the highest scores for their routine.

Bristol Palin takes a night off from dancing to stop in at The Mint on Monday (October 11) in Hollywood.

The 19-year old DWTS contestant says it has been difficult to balance dancing on the show and being a mother. “Mentally, it’s exhausting,”she told Extra. “Physically, it’s exhausting. But I’m making it work.”

Bristol revealed that her father, Todd Palin, was originally asked to do DWTS, but was unable because of his busy schedule. She said if either of her parents were on the show, “It’d be hilarious to see them dance.”

Bristol Palin and a friend go for lunch at McDonald’s where she eats a salad on Wednesday (September 29) in Los Angeles.

The 19-year old was recently at an Anchorage bar where her Dancing with the Stars partner Mark Ballas performed. However, the Palin family attorney says that Bristol was with two people over 21, ate food and did not consume any alcohol.

Singer Michael Bolton was eliminated from DWTS on Tuesday. Judge Bruno Tonioli called Bolton‘s routine “the worst jive I have ever seen.”

The 19-year old had X’s on both of her hands as she is not of legal drinking age.

Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate is very supportive of her daughter Bristol. “She’s my number one cheerleader, and I can’t wait for her to come watch the performances and just see me in a whole new light.” Bristol told People.
