Jake Worthington rocks a cowboy hat while performing “Mountain Music” with Alabama during day two of The Voice Season 6 Finale on Tuesday (May 20) in Universal City, Calif.

“What was y’all’s favorite preformance tonight???? @kelly_clarkson thank you for your words it means a lot!,” the 17-year-old singer tweeted the day before.

On the same night, Jake wowed the crowd with three performances for the first night of the finale.

Another winner has been crowned on The Voice as season six has come to a close!

It has been a great year for the show, which continues to be one of the top rated shows across all network television programs.

The final three contestants this season were Team Adam’s Christina Grimmie, Team Usher’s Josh Kaufman, and Team Blake’s Jake Worthington. Shakira, who will not be returning to the show as a coach after this season, was shut out of the finale.

Jake Worthington and coach Blake Shelton wow the crowd while performing Hank Williams, Jr.‘s “A Country Boy Can Survive” during day one of The Voice Season 6 Finale on Monday (May 19) in Universal City, Calif.

The 17-year-old singer also performed his audition song “Don’t Close Your Eyes” by Keith Whitley and Richard Marx‘s hit song “Right Here Waiting.”

In case you didn’t know, Jake improved himself immensely this season to go far after not making it past the blinds last season. He and season 4 finale contestant Michelle Chamuel, who also didn’t get past the blinds at first, are some of the contestants to come back on the show and finish strong.
