Jon Hamm and Sam Rockwell suit up for the premiere of Richard Jewell on Wednesday night (November 20) at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, Calif.

Joining the guys at the premiere held during the 2019 AFI Fest included fellow cast members Kathy Bates, Paul Walter Hauser, and Ian Gomez along with director Clint Eastwood.

The film follows American security guard, Richard Jewell, who heroically saves thousands of lives from an exploding bomb at the 1996 Olympics, but is unjustly vilified by journalists and the press who falsely report that he was a terrorist.

James Corden and his wife Julia Carey happily strike a pose on the red carpet while attending the National Portrait Gallery’s 2019 November Gala held at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery on Sunday (November 17) in Washington, DC.

The 41-year-old Late Late Show host was joined at the event by Lin-Manuel Miranda and his wife Vanessa Nadal, Kathy Bates, Gayle King, Mia Moretti, designer Prabal Gurung, Clive Davis, photographer Annie Leibovitz, Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, and Jeff Bezos with his son, Preston Bezos.

Anna Wintour was honored with the Portrait of a Nation prize Sunday at the National Portrait Gallery. Lin-Manuel Miranda, Earth, Wind & Fire, Jeff Bezos, Indra Nooyi and Frances Arnold were also recipients honored at the 2019 American Portrait Gala.

“I am beyond proud that the single most influential person in American fashion is an immigrant from the United Kingdom,” James expressed during his speech for Anna (via USA Today). “The most iconic, female immigrant since the Statue of Liberty herself.”

The 71-year-old Oscar winner dressed up as a werewolf as she arrived at the American Horror Story 100th Episode Celebration on Saturday night (October 26) at Hollywood Forever in Hollywood, Calif.

The film, which is directed by Clint Eastwood and based on true events, tells the story of what happens when what is reported as fact obscures the truth.

Here’s a plot summary: Richard Jewell is the security guard who reports finding the device at the 1996 Atlanta bombing—his report making him a hero whose swift actions save countless lives. But within days, the law enforcement wannabe becomes the FBI’s number one suspect, vilified by press and public alike, his life ripped apart. Reaching out to independent, anti-establishment attorney Watson Bryant, Jewell staunchly professes his innocence. But Bryant finds he is out of his depth as he fights the combined powers of the FBI, GBI and APD to clear his client’s name,while keeping Richard from trusting the very people trying to destroy him.

Sam Rockwell, Kathy Bates, Jon Hamm, Olivia Wilde and Paul Walter Hauser star in the movie.

Kathy Bates and Jake McLaughlin get to work on their new film Home!

The 71-year-old American Horror Story actress and the 36-year-old soldier were spotted on set on Friday (July 19) in Los Angeles.

They were joined by their other co-star Stephen Root.

Kathy wore a printed dress, and Jake donned a gray t-shirt and pants with a black blazer.

Jake and Stephen were seen walking and chatting together.

In Home, an ex-felon returns home from prison and must confront the demons of his past.

Woody Harrelson, Kathy Bates, and Kevin Costner hit the red carpet at The Highwaymen premiere on Sunday night (March 10) at the Paramount Theatre in Austin, Texas.

The co-stars hit the red carpet as they premiered their upcoming Netflix movie at the 2019 SXSW Festival.

Also at the premiere was Scott Stuber – the head of original films at Netflix.

The Highwaymen follows two Texas Rangers as they hunt down the notorious bank robbers Bonnie and Clyde.

Kathy Bates leaves Craig’s restaurant and shows off her new slim figure on Tuesday night (January 29) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 70-year-old actress recently opened up about her sixty pound weight loss.

“I’m feeling great. I’ve lost a lot of weight,” Kathy told People. Kathy opened up about how after her breast cancer went into remission, she developed lymphedema. Lymphedema is the swelling of the arms and legs that can happen after cancer treatment.

“I’ve lost a lot of weight and it’s really helped with my symptoms,” Kathy added. “I just still have to wear compression sleeves or guard against nicks and bug bites because that can lead to sepsis.”

“Doctors spend 15 to 30 minutes on the entire lymphatic system in medical school, so if someone goes to their general practitioner with swollen limbs, pain and heaviness the doctor will have no idea what it is. So it goes undiagnosed and the disease progresses for years and gets worse and worse,” Kathy added about her condition.
