Celine Dion Trends After 'Rolling Stone' Leaves Her Off of '200 Greatest Singers of All Time' List

Rolling Stone revealed their list of the 200 Greatest Singers of All Time, and backlash is already ensuing after fans noticed that Celine Dion was not even featured, despite having an unbelievable singing voice and a lauded, international career as a best selling singer.

The magazine established early on in the piece that the list might not feature the greatest “vocalists,” writing, “Before you start scrolling (and commenting), keep in mind that this is the Greatest Singers list, not the Greatest Voices List. Talent is impressive; genius is transcendent. Sure, many of the people here were born with massive pipes, perfect pitch, and boundless range. Others have rougher, stranger, or more delicate instruments.”

Some notable inclusions on the list include Billie Eilish at #198, Kelly Clarkson at #194, BTS’ Jung Kook at #191, Ozzy Osbourne at #112, Taylor Swift at #102, Michael Jackson at #86, Adele at #22, Beyonce at #8, Mariah Carey at #4, Whitney Houston at #2 and Aretha Franklin in the number 1 spot.

Once it was discovered that Celine Dion was not on the list, fans immediately began demanding answers on Twitter. Other blatant omissions as cited by fans include Cher, Judy Garland, Barbra Streisand, Luther Vandross, Jennifer Hudson, and so many other talented artists.

'Rolling Stone' Declares the Best Album of All Time!

Rolling Stone is making a huge pick: the best album of all time!

The outlet counted down their 500 choices for the best albums of all time on Tuesday (September 22).

“When we first did the RS 500 in 2003, people were talking about the ‘death of the album.’ The album —and especially the album release — is more relevant than ever (Votes for greatest hits albums were allowed, mainly because a well-made compilation can be just as coherent and significant as an LP, and because many hugely important artists recorded their best work before the album had arrived as a prominent format),” they said of their process for creating this year’s list.

“Of course, it could still be argued that embarking on a project like this is increasingly difficult in an era of streaming and fragmented taste. But that was part of what made rebooting the RS 500 fascinating and fun; 86 of the albums on the list are from this century, and 154 are new additions that weren’t on the 2003 or 2012 versions. The classics are still the classics, but the canon keeps getting bigger and better.”

'Rolling Stone' Declares the Greatest Boy Band Song of All Time!

Rolling Stone is making their pick for the top boy band song ever!

The outlet rounded up 75 of the greatest boy band songs, and declared their pick for No. 1 on Friday (July 24).

“As music has evolved, so have boy bands. Their existence is a pop constant but parameters have always been blurred: sometimes they dance and sometimes they don’t. Sometimes they are total strangers, sometimes they have known each other since birth…in honor of their continuing impact and dominance, here are the boy band heartthrobs’ pop confections worth screaming for,” the outlet declared.

Featured acts in the mix included everyone from the Backstreet Boys to Jackson 5 to BTS – but which song ultimately came out on top?

Zoe Kravitz Strips Down to Recreate Mom Lisa Bonet's 'Rolling Stone' Photo Shoot!

Zoe Kravitz wears nothing at all while posing for the cover of Rolling Stone‘s latest issue!

The 29-year-old actress recreated a photo from her mom Lisa Bonet‘s photo shoot for the mag, nearly 30 years later. Here’s what she had to share with the mag:

On dad Lenny picking her up from school as a kid: “He’d pick me up, and the entire school would flock to the parking lot. And he wasn’t being subtle: He’d show up in a sports car and leather pants and a netted shirt. Like, ‘Dude, can you just be low-key a little bit? Just a shirt that I can’t see your nipples through would be so dope.’”

On playing John Cusack’s role in the upcoming High Fidelity TV reboot: “I always related to that character. Just this neurotic mess of a person who can’t get out of her own way. It’s ironic to me that in a lot of stories men are the complicated, layered characters, when I think women are the most complicated and the most layered. We’re supposed to be perfect and take care of everyone, but sometimes we fall apart and we’re a big ol’ mess. If you don’t see that, you wonder, ‘Am I the only one who’s a f–kin’ mess?’ ”

On being sexually harassed on set: “I won’t name names, because I don’t want to ruin anyone’s life. But I definitely worked with a director who made me very uncomfortable. I was young — maybe 19 or 20 — and we were on location, staying at the same hotel. And it was full-on: ‘Can I come inside your room?’ Just totally inappropriate. And then he’d do things like come to the makeup trailer and touch my hair. Or say, ‘Let me see your costume — turn around?’ It’s just never OK for someone to do that. Especially when they’re in a position of power.”
