Henry Cavill is still friendly with his ex-girlfriend Tara King and she showed up to support him at the Durrell Wildlife Challenge charity race over the weekend.

The event took place on Sunday (May 15) in Jersey and the former couple was photographed running the 13km race together.

Despite Henry, 33, and Tara, 19, coming together for the event, sources told Us Weekly that the couple is indeed broken up still.

“She was in too deep and he didn’t want anything too serious. He has a lot going on right now,” a source said. “They’ll remain good friends, but it just wasn’t meant to be. No fight, just not meant to be.”

Henry Cavill and his 19-year-old college student girlfriend Tara King have reportedly split.

“Henry and Tara have split – it is official,” one source told Page Six. “Henry said the two of them could stay friends and he even invited her to his recent birthday party, which she did go to.”

“But their relationship is over,” the source continued. “It has been very difficult for Tara, who has been saying he was the love of her life.”

Henry hasn’t been shy about his relationship, and gave several interviews about their lives together.

“I mean, if a girl shouts something like, ‘Oi, love, fancy a shag?’ to me as I walk past, I do sometimes wonder how she’d feel if a builder said that to her,” the 32-year-old Batman v Superman actor told the Sunday Times. “Although, of course, I wouldn’t feel physically threatened, as she might.”

“I’ve heard some things in my time, I have to say,” Henry added. “I’d best not say what. I don’t mind it – not unless I’m with my girlfriend and someone is being complimentary to me in order to disrespect her. People who don’t respect other people’s feelings really get my goat.”

Henry and Tara, 19, recently made their red carpet debut at an Oscars party late last month.

The 32-year-old actor went solo on the carpet at the show earlier in the evening, but he brought Tara, 19, along for the fun afterwards.

Henry and Tara were spotted together a few days earlier while arriving in Los Angeles together just in time for the awards show.

Henry Cavill is opening up about his girlfriend Tara King, 19, and how wonderful their relationship is despite her young age.

“When I met my girlfriend, I was super intimidated. I wanted to impress her,” the 32-year-old Batman v Superman star told Elle magazine about the college student. “I was thinking, Don’t mess this up, man.”

“People say age is just a number. It’s actually real and true sign of someone’s maturity,” Henry added. “But in this case, she’s fantastic.”

He also stated that he dated an older woman when he was 19! “When I was 19, I was going out with a 32-year-old.” He also stated that the older lady taught him “things I can’t mention in this article.”
