LeBron “Bronny” James Jr just made his collegiate basketball debut on Sunday (December 10) in Los Angeles.

The 19-year-old athlete played his first game as a USC Trojan in the game against Long Beach State at the Galen Center arena.

Sitting courtside was, of course, Bronny‘s dad LeBron James, sister Zhuri and his grandmother Gloria James.

Previously, LeBron vowed not to miss his son’s first game, even if it conflicted with his Los Angeles Lakers schedule. Fortunately, it didn’t, as he had a winning game the night before and he has a couple of days off before the next.

While the season has been going on for weeks, this was the first time Bronny was able to play in a game after going into cardiac arrest earlier this year during a practice.

The reason for the cardiac arrest was found to be the cause of “an anatomically and functionally significant Congenital Heart Defect which can and will be treated,” his family shared in a statement in August.

Unfortunately, the Trojans were unable to pick up a win at Sunday’s game, but we’re glad to see Bronny back on the court and in good health!

LeBron James is marking his incredible accomplishment!

The 38-year-old basketball star had his family by his side to celebrate his new NBA record on Thursday (February 9) at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Earlier in the week, LeBron surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar‘s record as the all-time leading scorer in the NBA.

In the third quarter of the game, LeBron scored a three-pointer, passing Kareem‘s career total of 38,387 points. LeBron reached 38,388 career points at that point and his count will continue to grow.

Before his game on Thursday, LeBron was honored alongside his wife Savannah, his sons Bronny and Bryce, his daughter Zhuri, and his mother Gloria. He called the group his “starting five.”

LeBron James and his wife Savannah Brinson are the proud parents to a newborn baby girl named Zhuri!

The 29-year-old basketball all-star and his wife welcomed the little girl on October 22, E! News reports. The little one was born in Akron, Ohio.

This is the third child for the longtime sweethearts, who have two sons together, Bryce Maximus James and LeBron James Jr.

LeBron recently took his wife out of town on a baby moon to Greece before their daughter’s arrival.

Congrats to the happy couple on the wonderful news!
