Evan Rachel Wood: It's Hard Playing Dumb

After strolling through the Luxembourg Gardens with friends, Evan Rachel Wood dresses up in a D&G cocktail dress at the premiere of Whatever Works at Cinema Gaumont Opera on Friday (June 19) in Paris, France.

The 21-year-old actress was recently asked if it’s hard playing someone so dumb in the movie (her character’s name is Melodie). Evan answered, “It was. There is such a fine line between being endearing and annoying. It is not everybody’s sense of humor. I am sure some people won’t be able to stand her but she is very charming and sweet so I was hoping I made that work and won’t have people thinking “Oh my God, you are so dumb! Shut up!
