Scarlett Johansson Directing Truman Capote Adaptation
Scarlett Johansson is making her big screen directorial debut!
The 27-year-old actress will direct an adaptation of Truman Capote‘s lost novella Summer Crossing.

The story, written in the 1940s and lost for 50 years until it was recovered and published, “is set in New York when Gotham was emerging from the trauma of World War II and centers on an 18-year-old girl breaking free of her rich, smothering, family to discover her own identity and sexuality,” Variety reports.
