Kate Winslet Waves on 'Labor Day'

Kate Winslet waves while arriving on the set of her latest movie, Labor Day, on Tuesday (June 19) in Boston, Mass.

Over the weekend, the 36-year-old English actress was given a huge honor – she was named a Commander of the Order of the British Empire, or CBE, in The Queen‘s Birthday Honors List!

“I am both surprised and honored to stand alongside so many men and woman who have achieved great things for our country,” Kate shared, adding that the accolade made her “very proud to be a Brit.”

Actor and director Kenneth Branagh, who’s worked on projects including My Week with Marilyn and Thor, was also honored and made a knight!
