It was recently announced that Brie Larson is in talks to star as the female lead in Mark‘s upcoming film The Gambler, which is a 1974 remake of the same name.

In the original, James Caan took the role of a “college professor whose gambling addiction overcomes him even after he gets in big trouble with the wrong guys.”
