Naomi Watts Not Yet Confirmed for 'The Birds' Remake

The 45-year-old actress has been the topic of rumors this week that she will be starring in a remake of the classic film The Birds, but the movie’s producer says they are not true… yet.

“No actor or actress is going to commit to everything without a script,” Brad Fuller told horror-movies.ca. “We’ve sat down with her and conceptually I think we all want to make the same movie, but until we have a script and a director, I think it’s a little premature. But, we’re all talking and she’s who we’d like to have as the lead.”
