Anna Paquin Appearing in 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' After All

Anna Paquin will be making an appearance in the upcoming movie X-Men: Days of Future Past, even though it was previously said that her role was cut from the film.

The 31-year-old Oscar-winning actress was set to reprise her role as Rogue, but the only action scene she appeared in was determined to be “extraneous” to the story and cut by director Bryan Singer.

“Unfortunately, it was the one and only sequence Anna Paquin was in, the Rogue character was in,” Bryan said. “Even though she’s in the materials and part of the process of making the film, she won’t appear in it.”

Fans who watched the final trailer for the movie noticed that her name now appeared in the credits and a rep for 20th Century Fox confirmed to Buzzfeed that she will be in the flick.

“Essentially, [it's] a cameo,” the rep said.
