James Marsden's Future with 'X-Men' is Out of His Hands

James Marsden shows off his toned arms in a short-sleeved t-shirt while hanging out with a friend on Melrose Blvd. on Wednesday afternoon (May 28) in Hollywood.

The 40-year-old actor recently talked with Crave Online about possibly returning to the X-Men franchise. While he does not have a billed role in X-Men: Days of Future Past, he did show up to support it at the premiere.

“I’ve always been very proud of my role and it’s out of my hands. It’s nice to see Bryan [Singer] go back in and turn the boat a little bit,” he said. “I’m happy for those that made it back. I’d like to. I get excited watching the trailers because I’m excited for the continuance of the X-Men world. I’m a fan of X-Men and I know it’ll be a kick ass movie.”
