Amy Poehler Calls Out Male Privilege in This Awesome Way

Amy Poehler and Adam Scott get into their spiffy evening wear to film a scene for their show Parks and Recreation on Thursday (August 28) in Pasadena, Calif.

The 42-year-old actress appeared on a recent episode of The Approval Matrix and host Neal Brennan told her that for the modern man, “Being cool is, like, passé. And now you have to be awkward and adorkable.”

“Well, this feeling that you’re having right now – which is like, ‘I’m supposed to be all things’ – is a feeling that women have every day and have their whole lives. So you’re just starting to experience it now,” Amy responded. “We have to deal with all those juxtapositions every day, but I’m glad you’re finally experiencing it as a white male.”
