Jake Gyllenhaal Hurt His Hand By Mistake in 'Nightcrawler' Scene

Jake Gyllenhaal rocks a suit while enjoying a cup of coffee on the set of his upcoming film Demolition on Tuesday (October 28) in New York City.

The 33-year-old actor was joined on set by his co-star Naomi Watts.

The night before, Jake took time off shooting the movie to promote his latest film Nightcrawler at the premiere, where he got some love and support from close friends Beyonce and Jay Z.

“When I believe in a character, I’ll go there. I did hurt myself by mistake, not on purpose — I hurt my hand in a scene. That was by mistake. When we talk about losing weight, it’s for a finite amount of time. That’s why I say it’s movie hard. You’re not going to be Lou Bloom for the rest of your life. The feeling I wanted was the hunger. I wanted that irritability. I wanted that feeling that you’re pushing yourself,” Jake recently shared to USA Today about Nightcrawler.
