John Mayer & Pharrell Williams Bring Their Musical Talents to Jazz Trumpet Competition

John Mayer shows off his guitar skills while performing Crusaders‘ ’70s classic “Put It Where You Want It” at the 2014 Thelonious Monk International Jazz Trumpet Competition held at Dolby Theatre on Sunday (November 9) in Hollywood.

The 37-year-old singer was joined at the competition by Pharrell Williams, who sang a jazzy rendition of his hit song “Happy.”

The day before, John was dapper in a suit while arriving for dinner at celeb hotspot Craig’s Restaurant in West Hollywood.
