Frances McDormand Tells People to Stream Her Movie During SAG Awards 2015 Acceptance Speech (Video)
Frances McDormand accepts her trophy on stage at the 2015 Screen Actors Guild Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (January 25) in Los Angeles.
The 57-year-old actress won the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Miniseries or Television Movie for her work in the movie Olive Kitteridge.
During her acceptance speech, Frances plugged the movie and told people to go see it.
“I wish that we all could get some really cozy slippers, a box of Sees nuts and chews, hang out and watch more of our work, because every little snippet I see, I just want to see more and more,” Frances said. “This is a celebration… it’s also a proclamation. I’m proclaiming if you haven’t seen Olive Kitteridge, you need to. You can stream it, I don’t know how. You can watch it on an inter-continental flight I’ve been told.”
