Joe Manganiello Reveals That He's 12 Years Sober

The 38-year-old actor revealed this week that he has been sober for the past twelve years.

“Of course sobriety is something near and dear to me,” Joe told Us Weekly at the premiere of the documentary Resurrection Of Jake The Snake, which deals with the subject. “Twelve-and-a-half years sober. So obviously this is something very close to my heart.”

Joe previously talked with Huffington Post about his sobriety.

“There was a period of four years where I needed to quit drinking,” Joe said. “It was one of those obstacles I needed to get over. Once again, I needed to clear the road in order for these things to happen.”
