Mariah Carey Performs for Human Rights Campaign Gala Crowd

Mariah Carey poses with Empire‘s Jussie Smollett on the red carpet before her performance at the 2015 Human Rights Campaign Los Angeles Gala held at JW Marriott on Saturday (March 14) in Los Angeles.

The 44-year-old entertainer was also joined at the event by TV exec Shonda Rhimes, Scandal‘s Dan Bucatinsky, Grey’s Anatomy actress Sara Ramirez, The Fosters EP Peter Paige, and director/producer Adam Shankman.

As the largest civil rights organization working to achieve equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans, the Human Rights Campaign represents a force of more than 1.5 million members and supporters nationwide – all committed to making HRC’s vision a reality.
