Robert Durst of HBO's 'The Jinx' Arrested in New Orleans

New York real estate fortune heir Robert Durst was taken into custody on Saturday (March 14) in New Orleans, La.

According to the New York Times, the 71-year-old subject of HBO’s documentary series The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst was arrested on a warrant issued in a homicide investigation by Los Angeles County. He is being held without bond.

Robert has been a suspect in the unsolved death of his journalist friend Susan Berman who was shot dead in her home in the Benedict Canyon area back in late 2000.

There has also been speculation that Robert was involved in his first wife’s disappearance in 1982, as well as the shooting of his neighbor in Texas back in 2001.

The final episode of The Jinx airs TONIGHT, March 15 @ 8PM on HBO.
