Jennifer Lawrence Wanted Seth Meyers to Ask Her Out!

Jennifer Lawrence shares a laugh with Seth Meyers while appearing on Late Night on Tuesday (December 15) in New York City.

The 25-year-old Joy actress told a story about how she once hosted Saturday Night Live and wanted Seth to ask her out on a date the entire week.

“Years ago, I did SNL. You were working there, I don’t know what you did,” Jen said. “I had a really big crush on you and so I had this whole plan, all week I was like, ‘he’s going to ask me out, he’s totally going to ask me out.’”

“Then later in the week I was like, ‘I’m going to ask him out.’ I had created the romance in my head because I’m delusional. And so I was like, ‘Okay. You know what? I’m doing it. I’m doing it!’” Jen added. “And so I’m getting a costume fitting and I had this whole plan, I was going to ask you out. And thank god I talked to the wardrobe lady and I was like, ‘I think I’m going to ask Seth Meyers out. I’m going to give him my number.’ And she was like, ‘Honey, he’s engaged.”
