Natalie Portman Films JFK Funeral Scene for 'Jackie' in D.C.

Natalie Portman wears a black veil as she films a funeral scene on the set of Jackie on Sunday (February 28) in Washington, D.C.

The 34-year-old actress recreated the famous moment as Jacqueline Kennedy walked alongside her late husband John F. Kennedy‘s brothers Robert and Ted, the former played by Peter Sarsgaard.

They shot the exterior scenes in front of the White House that day. The biopic takes place in the immediate aftermath of JFK‘s assassination on Nov. 22, 1963.
