The Weeknd Wins Big at Billboard Music Awards 2016!

The Weeknd holds his multiple trophies while in the press room at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards held at the T-Mobile Arena on Sunday (May 22) in Las Vegas.

The 26-year-old musician won eight total awards that evening, but only accepted two on stage.

The Weeknd won the first prize of the night, Top Hot 100 Artist of the year, and dedicated it to Prince.

“I want to dedicate this award to the late, great Prince. Rest in Peace,” The Weeknd said. “I was told not long ago that his last TV appearance he had given me an award. That was the greatest experience of my entire life and I love him so much.”
