Britney Spears Doesn't Remember Her First VMAs Performance
Britney Spears poses for photos while appearing at Music Choice Studios on Monday morning (August 29) in New York City.
The 34-year-old entertainer might have lit up the stage of the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards the night before, but she doesn’t have any recollection of the first time she performed at the show in 1999.
Britney was asked about the performance in a chat with Elvis Duran and the Z Morning Zoo.
“I think I was with *NSYNC when I performed for the first time. I think the whole setup was a classroom, and my four main dancers were in the front at their desk and I came out of my locker,” Britney said. “But, you know what, I don’t remember at all. I have no recollection. I couldn’t tell you anything about it.”
The performance was indeed with NSYNC and she performed “Baby One More Time” while they boy band sang “Tearin’ Up My Heart.”
