Stranger Things' Barb Actress Lands 'Riverdale' Role

A fan favorite from Stranger Things is headed to The CW’s Riverdale!

Actress Shannon Purser, who plays Barb on the hit Netflix series, is joining the cast of the Archie reboot for at least three episodes, according to EW.

Shannon is playing Ethel Muggs, who will “be drawn into a friendship with Veronica (Camila Mendes) and Betty (Lili Reinhart) after they team up for a revenge plot on Reggie Mantle, a bully and Archie’s (KJ Apa) rival.”

Riverdale is set to premiere midseason on The CW.
